May

  • Wyoming Secretary of State’s office has renewed its multi-year contract with Arikkan, Inc for hosting and supporting all of their Elections related applications in Arikkan’s Private Cloud Infrastructure.

  • Chaves, Arikkan and Democracy Live successfully delivered web based voting application for Missourians serving US Armed Forces. This application will go live in June 2014 when the absentee voting for the military voters starts.

  • Arikkan released its new and improved Election Night Reporting (ENR) v2 web based application. Arikkan ENR v2 application will deliver its 1st live election results for 2014 Primary Elections.

  • Arikkan successfully completed Private Cloud based Records Management Pilot Project for State of Wyoming (WY RMA). WY RMA powered by HP TRIM is currently used by two Wyoming State agencies.

Jan

  • Missouri Secretary of State’s office has contracted with Chaves Consulting, Arikkan and Democracy Live to develop nation’s first web based voter registration and voting application for Missourians serving US Armed Forces. This application will enable Military voters to register to vote, request absentee ballot, mark their ballot online and return the ballot either electronically or by mail. This product development and delivery will be conducted in phases, with the 1st phase expected to be completed June 2014 and 2nd phase by August 2014.

  • Mississippi Secretary of State’s office has contracted with Arikkan, Inc to build and deploy Maximum Availability Architecture for their Statewide Voter Registration and Elections Management System [SEMS]. SEMS environment is hosted from two geographically separated locations with active / real-time data replication.

  • Arikkan in partnership with Chaves Consulting has signed contact with State of Wyoming to provide multi-year Wyoming Record Management Application (RMA) Project to provide Record Management Solution for State of Wyoming Archives and other Wyoming agencies.

  • State of Iowa has contracted with Chaves Consulting and Arikkan for development of Election Night Reporting application.

  • State of Wyoming has adopted Arikkan’s private cloud to host Wyoming’s Election applications.

  • Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch: State of Oregon embraces HP TRIM for Statewide Cloud-based Records Management Program: Called Oregon Records Management Solution (ORMS), the cloud-based system is the result of a unique public-private collaboration between Autonomy, Chaves Consulting and Arikkan, utilizing HP TRIM to implement the first statewide electronic records management solution of its kind in the country. ORMS implements HP TRIM in the cloud as part of a Software-as-a-Service solution to make access to government records easier, more transparent, and affordable.

  • Press release from GCN: Oregon rides cloud to statewide records management system: A cloud-based records management system in the office of Oregon’s Secretary of State produced such improvements in access and processing time that officials are now expanding it statewide. The Oregon Records Management Solution (ORMS) will let state, city and county agencies manage and provide access to records in an efficient, uniform manner and will save money on storage, risk and litigation costs, officials said.

  • Arikkan welcomes Washington Secretary of State office and its divisions to Oregon Records Management Solution (ORMS).

  • Secretary of State of Wyoming has renewed their Elections support contract with Arikkan.

  • Secretary of State of Wyoming signs multi-year contract with Arikkan to support Elections in State of Wyoming and its 23 Counties.

2010

  • Arikkan signs a contract with Oregon Secretary of State to design and develop redundant hosting facility for all divisions within Secretary of State’s office.

  • Arikkan partners with Chaves Consulting, inc. and SACE, inc. to build state-of-the-art Synergy Data Center in Baker City, Oregon.

  • Thinking big in Baker - Tiny, beautiful Baker City has, like most rural Oregon towns, long struggled to create new business and jobs out of the ashes of its natural resources industry. The seat of a remote county with a population of only 16,000, Baker suffers from high unemployment but it does not suffer from a lack of trying.

  • Data center to open in Baker Tower - Richard Chaves and his partners are investing $1 million to launch Synergy Data Center and Services in the historic Baker Tower building, with hopes of eventually bringing 100 high-tech jobs to Baker City. Chaves said three Oregon companies, including his own, Chaves Consulting of Baker City, along with Arikkan Inc. of Salem, and Sace Inc. of Bend, are forming Synergy Data Center and Services (Synergy DCS).
